AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 81 AND AMEPIDING ORDINANCE N0. 11
OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1947, HY A6",ENDING
SECTION 20, AND HY INSERTING NEW SECTIONS NUMBERED 2-D AND 4-A, ALL
RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF LAND USE DISTRICTS IN THE CITY OF
HILO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUFn,RVI50RS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 81 of the County of Hawaii 1y49 is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 2. Section 20 of Ordinance No. 11 of the Revised Ordi-
nances of the County of Hawaii 1947 is hereby amended by adding to the
end thereof, the following:
"provided, however, from the above-described area, the fol-
lowing described parcel of land is excepted:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the intersection
of Kekuanaoa Street and Honn Lane and running clock-
wise by azimuths and approximate distances as follows:
• 1. 349° 15' 138 feet along the West boundary
of Honu Lane;
~' 2. 79° 24' 318 feet;
3. 341° 28' 82 feet;
4. 68° 35' 108 feet;
5. 160° 06' 7.40 feet;
6. 71° zB' 164 feet;
7. 160° 06' !~1 feet along the East boundary
of Kilauea Street;
8. 261° 16' 380 feet along the South boundary
of Kekuanaoa Street;
9. 262° 52' 02" 277 feet along the South boundary
of Kekuanaoa Street to
the point of beginning."
SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 11 of the Revised Ordinances of the
County of Hawaii 1947, as amended, is hereby amended by inserting a
new section numbered 2-D, after Section 2-C, to read as follows:
"Section 2-ll. Business Lone VI for a Neighborhood Shopping
Center. (Southeast corner of the intersection of Kilauea
Street and Kekuanaoa Street).

Business Zone VI for a Neighborhood Shopping Center shall
contain all of the area described as follows:
Beginning at tha Southeast corner of the intersection
of Kilauea Street and Kekuanaoa Street and running
clockwise by azimuths and approximate distances as
follows:
1. 261° 16' 202 feet along the South boundary
of Kekuanaoa Street;
2. 340° 06' 407 feet;
3. 71° 28' 198 feet;
4. 160° O6' 440 feet along the East boundary
of Kilauea Street to the
point of beginning."
SECTION 4. Ordinance No. ll of the Revised Ordinances of the
County of Hawaii 1947, as amended, is hereby amended by inserting a
new section numbered 4-%+, after Section 4, to read as follows:
"Section 4-~+. Light Industry Lone III. (Southwest corner
of the intersection of Kekuanaoa Street and Honu Lane).
Light Industry Zone III shall contain all of the area
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the intersection
of Kekuanaoa Street and Honu Lane and running clock-
wise by azimuths. ~and distances as follows:
1• 349° 15' 138.29 feet along the vVest bound-
ary of Honu Lane;
2• 79° 24' 318.26 feet;
3• 341° 2B' $2.69 feet;
4. 68° 35' 108.72 feet;
5• 160° O6' 266.69 feet;
6. 261° 16' 179.35 feet along the South bound-
. ary of Kekuanaoa Street;
7• 262° 52' 277.64rfeet along the South bound-
ary of Kekuanaoa Street
to the point of begin-

SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approvial.
