AN ORDINANCE AMEPTTDING ORDINANCE N0. 58 OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, AS ,,,
AMENDED, PERTAINING TO TiD; REGUL.,TION OF THE SUBDCVISION OF REAL ESTATE
IN THE GOUNTY OF HAWAII. ~
BE IT ORDAINID BY THE BOA:cD OF 5UPEE2VISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
Section 1, Section 4 of Ordinance No. 58 of the County of
Hawaii, as amended, is hereby further amended to reed as follows:
"Section 4, Recognition and recordation of substandard
subdivisions.
No person shall a ell, lease or rent any reel property
which la not in conformity with the arse and lot width
requirements of the Inning and Subdivision Ordinances,
and not recorded with & e Commission, or the Bureau of
Conveyances of the Territory of Hawaii prior to May
24, 1948. Said restriction ea to sale, lease, and
rental of real property shall, however, not apply to
real property excepted by the Commission es herein-
after provided,
Any owner of any real property which is not in con-
formity with the area and lot width requirements of
the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances, and not recorded
or approved by any government agency prior to hay 24,
1948, shall be given a period of one year from the
effective date of this ordinance to present such
evidence of recordation or approval to the Commission.
If the Commission finds that the recordation or approval
is proper and bona fide then the said real property
shall be recorded with the Commission and shall there-
after come within the above exception."
Section 2, This ordinance shall take affect upon its approval,
