COUNTY OF HAWAII -TERRITORY OF HAWAII
ORDINANCE N0. /.~..2~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24-A AND SECTION 24-B OF ORDINANCE N0. 11
OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1947, A3 AMENDED,
RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF LAND USE DISTRICTS IN THE CITY OF HILO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISGRS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 24-A of Ordinance No. 11 of the Revised Ordinances
of the Covnty of Hawaii 1947, as amendedi.'by Ordinance No. 68, is hereby
further amended to read ae folloxa: ~
"Section 24-A. Agricultural Zone One-A.
Agricultural Zone One A shall contain all of the Waiaksa
Homestead Lots mauka of a line 968 Poet mauka of Road 3 Weat
(Komohana Road) together with a parcel of Government land
containing approximately 492.5 acres on the southerly aids of
and adjoining Lots 1201, 1302, 1304 and 1406 of the Waiakea
Homesteads; excepting therefrom, hoxever, a strip of land 200
feet on both sides of the centerline of all existing roads,
roads hereafter constructed, road reserves of the Territory
of Hawaii, and road reserves approved by the CcaDOiasion as
part of a subdivision plan."
SECTION 2. Section 24-B of Ordinance No. 11 of the Revised Ordinances
of the County of Hawaii 1947, sa amended. 'by Ordinance No.1L~, is hereby
further amended to read as folloxa:
"Section 24-B. Agricultural Zone One-B.
Agr icultural Zone One-B shall contain all of the lots located
in Sections "A" and "C" of the Waiakea Hameateads 3rd Soriea,
together with a parcel of government laud containing approximately
101.3 acres on the easterly aide of and adjoining Agricultural
Zone One-A; excepting thersfran, however, a strip of land 200 feet
on both aides of the centerline of all existing roads, roads
hereinafte r constructed, road roservea of the Territory of Hawaii,
and road reaerws approved by the Caamdeaion as part of a subdi-
vision plan."
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
