AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 11 CF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII 1947, AS Ab'~NDE'1, BY AMENDING SECTION 20 THEREOF, AND
INSERTING A NEW SECTION NUMBERED SECTION 2-F, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISH-
N:ENT OF LAND USE DISTRICTS IN THE CITY GF HILO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUP~VISCRS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
AAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance Igo. 11 of the Revised Ordinances of the
County of Hawaii 1947, as amended, is hereby amended in Section 20 by
adding to the end of said section the following:
"provided, however, from the above-described area, the fol-
lowing parcel of land is excepted:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the intersection of
Kilauea Street and Puainako Street and running by azimuths
measured clockwise from True South:
1. 355° 40' 360 feet;
2• BS° 40' 121 feet;
3• 175° 40' 360 feet;
4. 2b5° 40' 121 feet to the point of beginning
and containing an area of
1.00 acre."
SECTION 2, Ordinance No. 11 of the Revised Ordinances of the
County of Hawaii 1947, as amended, is hereby amended by inserting a
new section number 2-F, after Section 2-E, to read as follows:
"Section 2-F. Business Zone VIII for a Shopping Center.
(The intersection of Kilauea Street and Puainako Street).
Business Zone VIII shall contain all of the area described
as follows:
1. 355° 40' 360 feet;
2• g5° 40' 121 feet;
3• 175° 40' 36o feet;
4. 265° 40' 121 feet to the point of beginning
and containing an area of
1.00 acre."
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
