Section 1. Ordinance 121 of the County of Hawaii i_s
hereby amended by adding two new sections jA and 7B after
Section 7 to read as follows:
"Section 7A. Collecti ons. It shall. be the duty of
the County Treasurer to designate some member or members of
hi.s department to make regular collections of the money
deposited in said meters and it shall be the duty of such
person or persons so desi~mnatad to remove fro m tha parking
meters the coins so deposited in said meters. Such person
or persons shall make a reco rd of the number sown registered
on the coin counter of each parking meter, service the parking
meters, count the coins collected and deposit the same in a
ftmd entitled ' Par'cing ~"eter i''und' to be created and held by the
County Treasurer."
"Section 7i3. Periodic checks. The County Auditor shall
direct some member or members of his department to make periodic
checks of,the p~rki_n~r meters and collection procedure."
Section 2. This Ordinance ski 11 take effect upon its
approva]_,
