AN ORDINANCE AL'ENDING SECTIONS 16 AND 17 OF ORDINANCE N0. 45 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1947, AS ANffiNDED, KNOVi'N AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAIPTr.'D BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUPSTY OF

That Ordinance No. 45, as amended, is hereby further amended in
the following respects:
Section 1. Section 16, as amended, is hereby further amended to
read as follows:
"Section 16. 'A1' Agricultural Districts:
'~^tithin the 'A1' agricultural districts, any use is per-
missible excepting hotel and apartment, business, light
industrial, industrial, and noxious industrial uses.
The uses referred to in Section 5A shall be permitted
on any lot having an area of fifteen thousand (15,000)
s9uare feet or more.
The term 'A1' agricultural shall include general farm-
ing, dairies, poultry farms, piggeries, orchards,
ranches and other agricultural uses."
Section 2. Subsection 8 of Section 17 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"8. Farm or ranches for grazing, breeding, raising, or train-
ing horses or cattle, riding stables or academies, goat
or cattle dairies on a lot having an area of not less
than five (5) acres; sheep or goat raising. on a lot
having an area of not less than two (2) acres, and the
raising or keeping of three (3) swine for every one (1)
acre or proportional fraction thereof."
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
