Comm. 136: RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNDS FOR OVERTIME S&W
(Res. 39) FOR THE ELECTION DIVISION - $8,000
From Council Chairman James Y. Arakaki, dated
January 31, 1997, transmitting the above resolution.
The appropriation is being transferred from Election
Division - OCE - Postage and Freight.
Comm. 139: RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COUNTY'S
(Res. 40) EXTERNAL AUDIT CONTRACT NO. 99207 WITH
DELOITTE & TOUCHE LLP FOR ADDITIONAL WORK
From Legislative Auditor Constance R. Kiriu, dated
February 5, 1997, transmitting the above resolution
because of the following additional work:
1. A report to allow the County to self-insure
the pre- and post-closure and corrective
action of the Hilo and Kealakehe landfills,
in compliance with Environmental Protection
Agency's requirements. The report will be
paid for by the Department of Public Works.
2. Additional auditing services were necessary
to complete the Department of Water Supply's
financial records on a timely basis. The
Department of water Supply will pay for the
additional services.

COMPENSATED BY THE EXECUTIVE PAY PLAN
