BE IT ORDAIN;D BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IdV AP1D FOR THE COUNTY- OF HAJUAII That Ordinance No. 147 of the County of Hawaii 1954 is hereby amended in the following respects: Section 1. Section 21, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding Subsection (ff) to read as follows: "(ff) On the Puna side of Barenaba Street extension from llerby Street to Kilauea Street." Section 2. Paragraph 2, Subsection (b) of Section 56 is hereby ~ ' amended by adding Subparagraph c to read as follows: "c. Barenaba Street ~'actension into Kilauea .street." Section 3. Section 57 is hereby amended by adding Subsection (j) to read as follows: "(j ). A portion of DERBY STREET and BAREIdABX STREET EXTEN- SION. X11 vehicular traffic shall move only out (mauka to makai) into Kilauea Street between Barenaba Street and Kilauea Street." Section 4. Subsection c of Section 98 is hereby amended to read as follows: "(c) Lamps on parked vehicles. ;Whenever a vehicle is parked o{~ stopped on a street during the hcurs between a half hour after sunset and a half t~qur before sunrise, such vehicle shall be equipped wit one or more lamas which shall exhibit a white light pn the roadway side visible from a distance of 500 feet to the frcnt of the vehicle and a red light visible from a distance of 5CC feet to the rear. No parking lights neg;d be displayed under an~~ of the following conditions:; 1. ±+henever a vehicle is sto° ed or parked in such a location where there is~ffi.cient lighting to reveal saSd vehicle frpm',~a distance of 200 feet on al]. roadway approaches to the said vehicle. The lighting prodded by headlights o£ appro~~~}}??r~ vehicles-sha.7,1.-x~ot be construed as the sufficient lighting,regpired by this secazc.,,, M. 1;. ,1~. . _ _ _~ _ __ . us,~, _ qua ..~9..ls~g PJ i. 0 1955 2, iNhenever a vehicle is stopped or parked en- tirely off a paved roadway or the main travelled portion of an unpaved roadway and there is at- tached upon the rear of such vehicle a red re- flector so maintained as to be visible from all distances within 300 feet to 50 feet from such vehicle. 3. 9h:enever a vehicle is stopped or parked so that a red reflector is so maintained as to be visible from all distances within 50C feet from the rear of such vehicle."
