ORDINANCE N0. ~~'S'`~
AN ORDINANCE RESTRICTING ANIMALS AND LIVESTOCK ON PUBLIC
PLACES AND PRIVATE LANDS.
BE IT ORDAINID BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII.
SECTION 1, No person owning, control
possession of any livestock of animals, such
mules, donkeys, swine, sheep or goats, shall
any such livestock or animals to roam, graze
any public land, highway, street, road, lane

SECTION 2. No person owning, controlling or having
the possession of any livestock of animals, such as cattle,
horses, mules, donkeys, swine, sheep or goats, shall suffer
or permit any such livestock or animals to roam, graze or
stray upon the land or premises belonging to, held or occupied
by another in the City of Hilo without first having obtained
permission from the owner, or hie duly appointed agent, if the
owner shall be the occupier or holder, or if he shall have
let another occupy or hold the same, without having first
obtained the permission of the occupier or holder thereof, or
the duly appointed gent of such occupier or holder. For the
purpose of this ord hence, the City of Hilo shall consist of
all of that portion of the district of South Hilo, County of
Hawaii, which is described in Section 6351, Revised Laws of
Hawaii 1945, as follows:
Bounded on the south by the District of Puna;
bounded on the west by the Districts of Kau and
North Hilo; on the north by the Ahupuaa of Paukaa
in the District of South Hilo; and on the east
by the sea.
SECTION 3. Any person who shall violate the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof shall be fined not more than FIVE HUNDRED
0500.00) DOLLARS.
~~ SECTION 4. Ordinance No. 16, County of Hawaii, is
hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval. /~
