AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 56, 57, AND 69 OF ORDINANCE N0. 147 OF
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1954 PERTAINING TO THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC UPON
THE PUBLIC STREETS AND HIGHWAYS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED B7f THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
That Ordinance No. 147 of the County of Haxaii 1954 is hereby
amended in the folloning respects:
Section 1. Paragraph 2, Subsection (b) of Section 56, is hereby
amended by adding Subparagraph c to read as follows:
"c. Keaxe Street into Furneaux Street."
Section 2. Subsection (a) of Section 57 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"(a) FURNEAUR STREET. All vehicular traffic shall move from
makai to mauka between Keaxe Street and Kilauea Street,
and mavka to makai between Keaxe Street and Kamehameha
Avenue."
Section 3. Subsection (b) of Section 69, sa amended, is hereby
further amended in the folloxing respects:
Sub-
(e) Paragraph b of Paragraph 4 is hereby deleted.
(b) Subparagraph a is added to Paragraph 6 to read as fol-
loxa:
"e. Mamalahoa Highxay, from a point 1,200 feet on
the Hilo aide of the Honuapo Landing road, to
a point 1,600 feet on tha Naalehu side of the
said Honuapo Landing road."
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
