HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1956-172COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII ~tDINANCE N0. /~i~ AM ORDINANCE IOAENDING ORDINANCE N0. 11, REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1947, AS AMENDED, HY CREATING RESTRICTIVE BUSINESS ZONE I AND RESIDENTIAL ZONE C-II FROM PORTIONS OF HOTEL AND APARTMENT ZONE I-A AND A2 ACR.ICULTURAL ZONES, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHIAENT OF LAND USE DIS- TRICTS IN THB CITI OF HILO. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: That Ordinance No, ll of tho Revised Ordinances of the County of Haxaii 1947, as amended, is hereby further amended in the folloxing respects: Section 1. B9' adding Section 2.01 to create Restrictive Business Zone I from a portion of Hotel and Apartment Zone I-A, described in Section 9-A and a portion of an A2 Agricultural District, the said Section 2.01 to read as folloxs: "Section 2.01. Restrictive Business Zone I (Portions of Waianuenue Street and Wailuku Drive). Restrictive Business Zone I shall contain all of the area bounded as folloxs: Beginning at the Puna-makai corner of Waianuenue Street and Caimans Street intersection and running in a clockxise direction as folloxs: 1. Puna side of Waianuenue Street; 2. The makai side of Kaiulani Street from its intersection xith the Puna side of Waianuenue Street; 3. The Puna bank of Wailuku River; 4. A line 125 Peet above and parallel to Kinoole Street; 5. The Piihonua and Punahoa 2nd land boundary; 6. Makai side of Caimans Street to the point of beginning." Section 2. By adding Section 22-B, after Section 22-A, to create Residential Zone C-II from a portion of an A2 Agricultural District, the said Section 22-B to read as folloxs: /~~ C' . ~ .. , "Section 22-B. The mauka boundary of the Reservoir Site (Executive Order No. 639) extended to Puna side of Wailuku River; 2. The Puna side of Wailuku River and Waikapu River; 3. The mauka bourrlary of Hilo High School Site (Executive Order No. 223) extended fxrom Waikapu River; 4. Hamakua aide of Wsianuenue Street to the point of beginning." Section 3.
