SE(;TION 1. D73FINI'CIONS. Unless otherwise expressly
stated, whenever used in this Ordinance the following
terms shall be to}<en to have the followi_ne meanins:
1. Garbage, Shall mean and include all oreanic
wastes not fit for animal consumption.
2. Rubbish. Shall. mean and include solid waste
or rejected material including, without limitine the
a,eneratity thereof, paper and cardboard cartons, straw,
excelsior, rays, clothes, shoes, bottles, tin cans,
china, mlass, metal~~are, leaves, ~*rass, tree branches,
tree stumps, and any other material of similar character;
but, not inclu~line such materials as lambcr or iron pipes
exceeding five feet in leneth, concrete hlocks and tiles,
cement, acids, i.ce boxes, refrigerators, ranges, radios,
television sets, phonographs, bedsteads, bed springs,
tables, sofas, chairs, and other furniture, water heaters,
water tanks, sinks and other similar materials or eruipment
of a weimhty or hulkv nature.
3. Swill. Shah mean and incLide all food wastes
which are fit for animal consumption.
4. Refuse. Shall moon end include all discarded 'and
disposable matre.r, inclndin~ earbage, rubbish and sw~i11 as
