That Ordinance No. 51 of the County of kkawaii is
hereby amended in the following respects.
:>ectior. 1. Subsection (bi ofVcctior, o is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"For each additional mile or fraction thereof the
fare shall be not more than fifty cents (50'A); provided
however, taxi fares and charges for passengers from incoming
boats or planes shall be charged each person, and not by
the entire taxi cab, that is, a fare not exceeding fifty
cents (50") per passenger fer the first mile and fifty cents
(50~) per passenger for each additional mile thereafter or
a fraction t.hereof."
Section 2. Subsection (b) of section 7 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"For each additional mile or fraction thereof, not
exceeding fifteen (15) miles, fifty cents (50~) per mile."

arnended to read as follows:
"The pric,4 for any trip from within the city limits
of Hilo to any point outside of city limits, or from any point
outside of the city limits to point outside the city limits,
when such distance exceeds fifteen (15) .~~ales, or from a

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon
its approval.
