Sectior, 1. Section 65, C1 i.s 1,-~re~y added after
Section 65 to read as follows:
"Section 65.01, Every operator. of a vehicle

For t'r,e provisions of this section, -the county
engineer is hereby authorized to erect stop signs on
a public highway where it intersects a private
roadway when the Planning ar;d Traffic Commission
deter,~ines its need in the interest of traffic safety
upon the basis of an engi-neer:inq and traffic investigation,
Tlie provisions of this ordinance applicable to
intersections sha11 be applicable where said stop
signs are @:Ceetec:L"
Section 2, Section G5, subsect.ion (b) is hereby
amended to road as follows:

Section 3. Section G'~, su`csoction (N), paragraph
6 is l;ereby further amended b;~ adding sul.~paragrapl, "f'~
after subparagraph 3 to read as follo~.rs:
"£. Saddle i:oad, between. the I!ilo Country
Club ;toad junction and the junction of t}:e Iiumuula
Sheep Station Road, when the Armed Forces of t}:e
United States are occupying tl~o Pohakuloa Training
Camp and provided speed limit signs are posted.
For the purposes of tl;is subparagraph, the
Territorial liigh~s~ay Engineer is heresy authorized
to post speed limit signs when the armed forces
are occupying tine Pohakuloa Training Car,~p."
Section 4. Section 94, subsection (c) is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"(c) Any authorized en'~ergency vehicle may be
equipped and all authorized emergency vehicles of
t'r~e Fire Jopa.rt,riont ar.d a]_1 ambulances shall be
equipped evitil a siren, vil,istle, or bell, capa'.~le o£
omitting sound audible and^r nor_rnril. conditions at not
less than five hw~dred feet o£ a typo approved by
tt,e cr,ief of police, but such siren shall not be
used excopt when such vehicle is operated in response
to an emergency call or in the ir'm,ediate pursuit of
an actual or suspected violator. of the law, in which

of the approach thereof; providod further, that said
emergency vehicle may be equipped and all authorizod
