COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
ORDINANCE NO, 8
ESTABLISHING AN AREA OF MOOHEAU PARK FOR THE USE AS A TERMINAL
FOR THE BUSES UNDER THE BUS CONTROL COMMITTEE, AND PROVIDING
FOR A RENTAL FEE FOR THE USE THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
Section 1. There is hereby set aside the entire newly
built parking area of Mooheau Park in the city of Hilo
for the purpose of a bus terminal for buses regulated by the
Bus Control Committee.
Section 2. The Bus Control Committee shall make such
rules and regulations for the parking of said buses as it
deems necessary for the carrying out of the purpose of this
ordinance.
Section 3. The Bus Control Committee shall collect
from the owner of each bus parking in said area the sum of
SIX DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS ($6.5U) per month; provided,
however, said collections shall be suspended from May 1, ly6U,
to December ;il, lytlU.
Section 4. All monies collected by the Bus Control
Committee shall be deposited in the Bus Control Fund, which
is hereby created. All monies deposited in the Bus Control
Fund are hereby set aside and shall be expended to improve,
maintain and upkeep proper bus control in the County of
Hawaii.
