Section 1. ~)n and after November 1, 1.949, no person
steal] sell any neor motor vehicle nor shall. any now or recon-
structed motor vehicle be registered thereafter which i_s
desioned or to be used for the purpose of trans:~ortinq
passengers for compensation or as a choo] bus unless such
vehicle is equipper] iai.th safety ql+3ss v:herever glass is
used in doors, ~.aindows, and ~.Jindshields.
Section 2. The term "safety Mass" shall mean any
product composed of glass, so manufactured, fabricated, or
treated as substantially to prevent shattering and flying
of the Glass when struck. or hrol-en or such other or similar
rroduct as may he approved by the chief of police.
