ORDINANCE NO. 3U
AN ORDINANCP.. TO P~)TECT Pi7BLIC GROUNDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISrJRS OF THE COUNTY
~)F HA?r/AII:
Section 1. That it shall. be the duty of the chief
of police of the County of Hawaii to protect lawns, gardens,
cYrass plots and other cultivated grounds belonging to the
:t ate of H=.wa.ii. or the County of Hawaii within the :;aid
County, and of all such lawns, gardens, grass plots and
other cultivated grounds of a public nature within said
County, and to place or cause to he placed on such places,
signs and notices warninG persons to keep off such places.
Section 2. Any person who shall trespass or walk
on or over any such lawns, Garden, grass plot or other
cultivated ground, on which there shalt be any such sign
or notice shall be Guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction shall be fined. in a sum not less than Two
Dollars and Fifty Cents 02.50) and not more than Twenty-
Five Dollars (925.00), in the discretion of the District:
PJlagistrate or other udge having jurisdiction of the cause.
