ORDINANCE NO. 32
AN ORDTNANCE RELATING TO THE UNKEAS~NABLE AND EXTRA USE
OF HIGHWAYS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY T1tE ]BARD OF SUPERVISJRS OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII: ~,
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any r~~rson to
draw, dracr, push or otherwise transport any lumber or
combination of lumber and other things, any flume, plo~r,
harrow, cultivator or other agricultural implement or
other machine or part of machine upon or across any public
road nr highway within the County of Hawaii in such e
manner that such drawing, dragging, pushing or transpor-
tation shall i.n any manner scratch, mar, excavate or
damage any portion of such. road or highway.
Section 2. It shall. he unlawful for any person
owning, working upon, driving, propelling or in charge of
any wagon, cart or other wheeled conveyance to permit the
pole, swing bar or any no.rtion of, or any Hart of the
contents of any such cart, wagon or other wheeled convey-
ance, excepting the wheels, to touch, drag or come in
contact with any portion of such highway or road in such
manner as to scratch, mar or excavate the road or public
highway.
Section 3. ~~7hoever shall violate any of the provisions
of this Ordinance shall be fined a sum not exceeding One
Hundred Dol.]-ars 0700.00) in the discretion of the magi-strate
or Court havincr jurisdiction thereof.
