BE IT ORDAINED BY TTTE L~OARD OF S[JPERVI~IRS OF TEE COUNTY ~~ F HAT~JA I l Section 1. There is hereby established a mound for the County of Hawaii. for the impounding and disposition of unlicensed, stray or diseased dons and cats. Section 2. The chief administering officer of the Hound shall he the dog warden, who shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Roard of Supervisors, with the approval of the Board, and deemed a department head under the provi- sions of Section 3-F1 of R.1,.F'. 1.955. He shall receive such salary and remuneration as may be fixed by the Board of Supervisors of the Count~~ and he shal_1 he required to dive official bond in the sum of 9x5,000.00, and conditioned upon the faithful rerformance of his duties. Section 3. The dog warden shall. keep accurate records and shall make monthly_ report of all. his transactions and activi.tiesto the Board of Supervisors, as well as such other reports as ma~~ he required by the Board of Supervisors. ,,,.~~ He shall have aharae, control. and management of all matters ' ~ pert a;ning to the public pound; subject to the. approval of !~~ the Board of Supervisors, he is empowered to make all ')- reasonable n~lc~s and rernllations for the efficient mana~xe- j ment of the round. ~r f ~~ Section 4. T?e is further authorized and empowered to sere and impound all stray and diseased ants, all unlicensed, stray and diseased doers running at large, and to dispose of the same all in acr_~rdanc,e ,:pith the provisions of Chapter 156, Revised Taws of Hawaii 1.955, and as hereafter amended. Section 5. Subject to such rules and regulations as may hP fixed by the Boar-i of Supervisors, the dog u,=rden is anth~ri?,ed to accept for safekeepincx and boarding dogs and cats in the pound, sod fir s~.ich services and costs he sna11 charge reasonable fees ar> Crn~nty realization. Section 6.
