AN ~~RDINANCE RESTRICTING FiI~iIM,4LS !IND LIVESTOCK OId PUBLTC
PLACES AND PRIVATE LAn?DS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF S[JPEP,VIS~RS QF THE C~~UNTY OF
HAWAIIs
SECTION 1. No person owning, controlling or having the
Possession of any 7.i.vestock of animals, such as cattle, horses,
mules, donkeys, swine, sheen or goats, shall suffer or permit
any sr.ch livestock or animas to roam, graze or stray upon
any public 7-and, highway, street, road,lane or alley i.n the
County of Hawaii.
_`ECTI~~N 2. A'o person owning, controlling or having
the possession of any livestock of animals, such as cattle,
horses, mules, donkeys, seine, sheen or goats, shall suffer
or Hermit any such livestock or animals to roam, graze or
stray upon the land or premises belonging to, held or occupied
by another i.n the City of Hilo without first having obtained
permission from the owner, or his du]y appointed agent, i_f the
owner sl~tall be the occun~ier or holder, or if he shall have
let another or.cun~r or held the same, without having first
obtained the permission of the occupier or holder thereor, or
the duly appointed agent cif such occupier or holder. For the
purpose of this ordinance, thF~ City of Hilo shall consist of
all of that portion of the district of South Hilo, Count}~ of

SECTION 3. Any person who shall violate the provisions
of this prdinance shall. he xui7.ty of a misdemeanor and upon
convi_etion thereof sh a_7 he fined not more than FIVE HUNDRED
