ORDINANCE NO. 74
AN ORDINANCE AME[~IDING ORDINANCE NO. 56 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF 1960 OF TFIE COUNTY OF HAVuAII (SALARY
ORDINANCE) BY ADDING A NEW SECTION NUMBERED 6.01 AFTER
SECTION 6 RELATING TO AUTOMOBILE MILEAGE ALLGWANCES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR TiiE
COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance bb of the Revised Ordinances
of 1960 of the County of Hawaii is hereby amended by
adding thereto a new section numbered 6.01 after Section
6 thereof to read as follows:
"Section 6.U1. Automobile mileage allowances.
In the absence of any flat monthly automobile
allowance any officer or employee of the County
of Hawaii who is required to use a privately-
owned automobile in the performance of his
official duties shall be allowed mileage at the
rate of eleven cents per mile for each mile
actually and necessarily traveled."
SECTIOf1 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon
its approval.
