ORDINANCE N0. 86
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 20 OF THE REVISEll ORDINANCES OF 1HF. COUNTY OF
HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING A NF;W SECTION NUMHrRED 8-D, RELATIN'(. TO THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF LANP. USE IN THE CITY OF HILO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUVERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
That Ordinance No. 20 of the Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii. 7.960, as
amended, is hereby fixrther amended in the following respect:
Section ], Ordinance No. 20 of the Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii
1960, as amended, is hereby further amended by inserting a new section numbered 8-D,
after Section 8-C, to read as follows:
"Section 8-D. Rosiness Zone XII,
Business Zone XII shall contain all of the area bounded as follows:
Beginning at a point 80 feet north of Piilani Street on a straight
line extended from the east side of Laukapu Street and running in
a clockwise direction as follows:
1, North fora distance of 1.20 fee Y, along a straight line extended
from the east side of Laukapu .Street;
2. East along a straight line parallel. to Piilani Street for a
distance of 453 feet to the west side of the proposed Kalani.koa
Street extension;
3. South along the west side of the proposed Kalanikoa Street
extension for a distance of 120 feet;
4, West along a straiept line Y.o point of beginning."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon the filing of a certificate
of approval by the Planning and Traffic Commission. If said certificate is not
fi_7ed by the said Commission within thirty (30) days after t: his ordinarr,e has been
submitted to said commission for approval, or upon disapproval by said Commission
of this ordinance, Y.his ordinance shad] take effect upon the affirmative vote of at
least five (5) members of the 9oard of Supervisors,
