AN ORDINANCE AMF.NDINC SECTION 14 OF ORDINANCE N0. 39 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED, RELATIIT TO
BUILDING PERMIT FEES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY

~ That Ordinance No. 39 of the Revised Ordinances of the County

of Hawaii 1960, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following
respects:
SECTION 1. Section 14 thereof is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"Section 14. Building permit fees. Notwithstanding the
provisions of Section 303 of the Uniform Building Code 1946
Edition, relating to building permit fees, any person, firm
or corporation which sustained any damage from the Kapoho
Volcanic eruptions of 1955 or 1960 or the seismic waves of
May 23, 1960 or the flood of April 2, 1961, shall pay no
more than One Dollar ($1.00) in permit fee for each building
permit for a period of one year from June 29, 1961."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BGARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR
THE COUNTY OF IIAWAII:
That Ordinance No. 39 of the Revised Grdinances of
the County of Hawaii 1960, as amended, is hereby further
amended in the following respects:
SECTION 1. Section 14 thereof is hereby- amended
to read as follows:
"Section 14. Building permit fees.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 303
