ORDINANCE N0. 102
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 1 AND AMENDING SECTION 3 OF
ORDINANCE N0. 38, REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
1960, RELATING TO THE NAMING OF THE PUBLIC STREETS, HIGHWAYS
AND ROADS IN THE CITY OF HILO, COUNTY OF HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 38, Revised
Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1960, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 38, Revised
Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1960, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 3. Any new street that shall hereafter be
opened for public use shall first have the name or names
submitted to the Board of Supervisors for approval and
adoption bq duly promulgated resolution before such name
shall be declared the name of such street."
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
