ORDINANCE N0. 162
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 122 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED, RELATIA?G
TO BUILDING PERMST FEES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 16 of Ordinance No. 122 of the
Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1960, as amended,
is hereby modified by amending the first paragraph 'to read
as follows:
"Section lb. Building permit fees.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 303
of the Uniform Building Code 1946 Edition,
relating to building permit fees, any person,
firm or corporation which sustained any damage
' from the Kapoho Volcanic eruptions of 1955 or
1960 or the seismic waves of May 23, 1960 or
the flood of April 2, 1961, shall pay no more
than One Dollar (31.00) in permit fee for each
building permit for a period of one year from
June 29, 1962."
SECTION 2. this ordinance shall take effect upon
:its approval.
