ORDINANCE NO. 185
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 36 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED, BY
AMENDING SECTION I.~, PERTAINING TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF
DRIVEWAY APPROACHES IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Subsection C of Section L~, Ordinance No. 36
of the Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1960, as
amended, is hereby amended to read as follows;
"C. Location of driveway approach at
intersections. At street intersections, where
20-foot radius curves are provided, no driveway
approach shall be constructed along the curb curve
line within 5 feet from the points of curvature
and/or tangency. Where, however, the radius curves
at street intersections are 30 feet or more, driveway
approaches may be constructed from the point of
curvature and/or tangency."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
