Section j of Ordinance No. 1~, Revise:d Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 160, as amended, is hereby amended to read as fo11o~.~rs; "Section j. Organization; employees, expenses, The Chairman and Executive Officer of the Board of Supervisors shall name one of the members to act as chairman of th.e commission. The corrunission may create and fill additional offices and committees from amongst its members, The Chairman and Executive Officer of the Board of Supervisors, with the approval oi' the Board of Supervisors of said county, shall appoint an executive officer, to be known as the Director c.f Planning and Traffic. The commission shall have the power to employ such experts, assistants and clerks as may be necessary to perform the duties of the conunission and for ~dhich appropriations and funds have been provided by the Board of Supervisors. Officers and employees of the several depart- ments may be temporarily detailed by the Chairman and Executive Officer of the Board of Supervisors to assist: the commission as required, and in such event, shall serve without additional compensation, but no such officer or employee: shall be deprived of his regular compensation because of such service with the commission.
