AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 25 OF TiIE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE COUNTY OF HAidAII 1960, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION 64
AND SECTION 69, PERTAINING TO THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC UPON THE
PUBLIC STREETS AND HIGHWAYS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Paragraph 1, of Section 64 of Ordinance No. 25,
is hereby amended by deleting the words and figures "to a speed
of not more than 10 miles per hour" and hereafter said
Paragraph I shall read as follows:
"'udhen official Slow Yield Right-of-Way sign is
erected at any intersection, the driver of a vehicle
approaching said sign shall slow down and yield the
right-of-way to other vehicles which have entered the
intersection or which are approaching so closely as to
constitute an immediate hazard,"
SECTION 2. Subsection (b) of Section 69, as amended, is
hereby further amended in the following respects:
A. By deleting subparagraph d of paragraph 4.
B. By adding subparagraph b to paragraph 8 to read as
follows:
"b, Kamehameha Avenue in Hilo, between Ponahawai
Street and a point 500 feet Puueo of Manono Street."
C, By adding subparagraph h to paragraph 5 to read as
follows;
"h. Kamehameha Avenue in Hilo, between a point 500
feet Puueo of Manono Street and Kalanianaole Avenue."

SECTION 3, This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
