ORDINANCE N0. 264
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 29, REVISED ORDINANCES OF
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE
N0. 69, RELATING TO THE SCATTERING, THROWING, DROPPING,
DEPOSITING AND PLACING OF RUBBISH, DEBRIS AND OTHER MATERIALS
ON PUBLIC PLACES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF gIE COTJNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 29 of the Revised
Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1960, as amended, is hereby
further amended to read as follows;
"Section 1, It shall be unlawful for any person
to scatter, throw, drop, deposit, or place or cause to
be scattered, thrown, dropped, deposited or placed on
any highway, street, road, alley, sidewalk, sea beach,
public park or other public place in the County of Hawaii,
State of Hawaii, any glass, glass bottle, tin can, nail,
tack, wire, piece of metal, stone, paper, fruit peeling,
rag, wood, straw, hay, or sweeping or any rubbish or
debris of any kind whatsoever, except :in receptacles
provided thereon for that purpose."
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 69 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3, This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
