ORDINANCE N0. 268
AN OKDINANCE AMENDING, ORDINANCE N0. 20 OF THE KETVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, A5 AAfENDED, TFIE LAND USE ORDINANCE,
BY CREATING A NEW RESIDENTIAL ZONE I:N THE CITY OF HILO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 20 of the Revised Ordinances of
the County of Hawaii 1960, as amended, is taereby further amended
by adding a new residential zone, numbered 43-D-VI after Section
43-D-V, to read as follows:
"Section 43-D. Residential Zone D-VI.
Residential Zone D-VI shall contain all of the area
bounded as follows:
Beginning at the Hamakua boundary of Block 58 of Mokaulele
Heights Subdivision, Waiakea, Hilo Hawaii, and the mauka
side of Popolo Street and running in a clockwise direction
as follows:
1. ptauka along the Hamakua boundary of Hlock 58 of
Mokaulele Heights Subdivision for a distance of
117 feet;
2. Northwest along a straight line parallel to Popolo
Street, for a distance of 1,130 feet to the south
boundary of Parcel 29, Grant 7655, Waiakea Cane Lots,
Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii;
3. Along the south boundary of Parcel 29, Grant: 7655,
Waiakea Cane Lots, to the mauka side of the proposed
extension of Popolo Street;
4. The mauka side of the proposed extension of Popolo
Street from the south boundary of Parcel 29, Grant
7655, Waiakea Cane Lots, along Popolo Street to the
point of beginning and containing an area of
approximately 2.87 acres.°
SECTIUN 2. This ordinan ce shall. take effect upon its
approval.
