SECTION 1. `Section 16 of Ordinance Ivo, 122 of the County
of Ha~:.aii, as amended by Ordinances Nos. 162, 19L~ and z1~6, is
hereby further amended to read as follows;
"Section 16. Building permit fa_es. IQotti~/ithstanding
the provisions of Section jOj of the Uniform Buil.dinq
Code 1)61 Edition, relating to building permit fees, -an•,~
;,- person, firm or corpcration which sustained any damage
from the Kapoho Volcanic eruptions of 195j or 1~6C, the
seismic waves of I'~Iay 2~~, 1960, or the flood of April 2,
1961, shall 'pay no more than One Dollar ($1.00) in
permit fee for each building permit for a period of
one (1) year from June 2~, 196f_~,"
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effec,~t upon it_:
approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 270
(Sill No. 305 - 1964)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 122 OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES NOS. 162, 194 AND 246, RELATING
TO BUILDING PERMIT FEES.
This Bill extends moratorium on building permit
fees for disaster victims for one year from June 29, 1964.
Date Introduced: July 1, 1964 - Date Approved: July 15,
1964 - Date Effective: July 15, 1964
Copies of the foregoing ordinance, in full, are on
file in the Office of the County Clerk for use and
examination by the public.
