ORDINANCE NO. 283
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-A-1 OF ORDINANCE N0. 2.57,
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, RELATING
TO SEWER SERVICE CHARGES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 7-A-1 of Ordinance No. 257,
Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1960 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"1. Based on Metered Water Consumption.
Monthly charge for sewer service in the district
of North Kona shall be at the rate of 50 percent
and in all other districts at the rate of 75 percent
of the total charge for water service, based on
metered water consumption as may be applicable to
each lot, land, building, dwelling or premises,
provided that water consumed for the purpose of
cooler and swimming pool shall not be included, in
the computation. The minimum monthly bill for
sewage service shall be the minimum water charge
or readiness to serve charge based on the size of
the water meter as established by the County P~oard
of Water Supply."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-A-1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 257,
iZEVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HA'~^lAII 1960, RELATING
TO SE;dER SERVICE CHARGES.
This Bill adjusts the monthly sewer service charges
at the rate of 50% for the North Kona district and 75 Yo
for all other districts, of the total charge for water
service, based on metered. water consumption.
