AN ORDINANCE AMEDIDING ORDINANCE N0. 20, REVISED ORDINANCES OF
TI-~ COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED, BY CREATING HOTEL AND
APARTMENT ZONE IX FROM A PORTION OF CLASS B.RESIDENTIAL ZONE
B-1, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF LAND USE IN THE CITY OF
HILO .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERV]=SORB IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII;
I; SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 20 of t:he Revised Ordinances
of the County of Hawaii 1960, as amended, is hereby further

amended by adding a new section called Section 28-D to create
Hotel and Apartment Zone IX from a portion of Residential
Zone B-1 to read as follows:
"Section 28-D. Hotel and Apartment Zone IX.
Hotel and Apartment Zone IX shall. contain all of the
area described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest <;orner of this parcel of
land on the Northwest side of Grant 9733 to Mrs. Marvel P.
Chilson, being also the Southeast: corner of Lot 1, Lei
Hala Tract Subdivision, the coordinates of said point of
beginning referred to Government Survey 'Triangulation
Station "HALM " being 5381.89 feet South and 8561.81 feet
East and running by azimuths measured clockwise from true
South:
1. 148 10' 150.00 feet along Lot 1, Lei Hala Tract
Subdivision to the Southeast
side of Government. Road;
2. 238 10' 210.00 feet along the Southeast side of
Government Road;
3. 328 10' 150.00 feet along Lot 5, Lei H:ala Tract
Subdivision to the Northwest

Mrs. PrIabel P. Chilson;
4. 58~ 10' 210.00 feet a]_ong a portion of Grant 9733
to Mrs. :Mabel P. Chilson to
the point of beginning and

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
