COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
ORDINANCE N0. 320
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN COUNTY OFFICIALS
AND EMPLOYEES PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 138, REVISED LAWS OF HAWAII
1955, AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The salaries of the following officers and
employees of the County of Hawaii are hereby fixed and shall
be payable semi-monthly out of the County Treasury at the
following rates:
Per Annum
Chairman and Executive Officer .............. $19,000
Members, Board of Supervisors (each)........ $ 7,200
County Attorney ............................. $17 500
Auditor ..................................... $15,500
Treasurer ................................... $14,500
Clerk ....................................... $14,500
Chief Engineer .............................. $16 500
Chief of Police ............................. $14,000
Fire Chief .................................. $13,000
Director, Economic Development .............. $13,000
Director, Parks and Recreation .............. $13,000
Purchasing Agent ............................ $12,000
Superintendents, Honokaa, Kohala and
Kona Hospitals (each)....,. $12,000
First Deputy County Attorney ................ $14,875
Second Deputy County Attorney ............... $13,760
Third Deputy County Attorney ................ $12,725

MEETING OF: August 4, 1965
ACTION: Supervisor Yadao moved that Bill 3$6 be amended on
Page 3, line 11, by changing the ward "approving"
to "submitting"; lines 15 and 16, ~3' deleting the
words "and the office of the Plann~ng Director;
page 5, section 9, be amended to rPoad as follows:
"Repeal. County of Hawaii Ordinance No. 304 is
hereby repealed." Seconded by Supervisor Jitchaku
and unanimously carried.
