ORDINANCE NO. 326
(Bill No. 357 - 1965)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 25, TRAFFIC CODE OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII, BY AMENDING SECTION 6 PERTAINING TO TRAFFIC
ENGINEERING AND AUTHORIZING THE DISTRICT ENGINEER OF THE STATE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, HIGHWAYS DIVISION, TO PLACE AND
MAINTAIN OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, SIGNS, SIGNALS AND
MARKINGS ON STATE MAINTAINED HIGHWAYS.
This Bill authorizes the District Engineer of the State
Department of Transportation, Highways Division, to place and
maintain official traffic markings on State maintained highways
consistent with standards approved by the American Association
of State Highway Officials.
