AN ORDINANCE AT~iENDING ORDIIuATQCE N0. 25 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HA1°JAII 1960, AS AMENDED, BY
AMENDING SECTION 69, PERTAiTJING TO THE REGULATION GF SPEED
ZONES UPON T]-LE PUBLIC STREETS AND HIGH6JAYS OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
OF T-IAWAII;
SECTION 1. Subsection b of Section 69 of Ordinance No, 2j,
Revised Ordinances o£ the County of Hawaii 1960, as amended,
is hereby further amended as follows:
a. By de le tiny Subparagraph g of Paragraph 5
relating to speed restrictions of 35 miles per hour
on the Hawaii Belt Road in Yaauilo from the Hamakua
N;ill Company Dispensary to the Paauilo Access Road
intersection in the Honokaa direction,
b. By adding a new Subparagraph numbered "s" to
Parayraph 6 relatiny to speed restrictions of LL5 miles
per hour in Paauilo tc read as follows;
"s. Hawaii Belt Road in Paauilo from the
Fionokaa Mill Company Dispensary to the Paauilo
Access Road intersection in the Honokaa direction."
c, By amending Paragraph 7 relating to speed
restrictions of 55 miles per hour and prima-facie evidence
to read as follows:
"7. Fifty-five miles per hour on ail publi:.
highways on which no speed restrictions have been
specified in any other paragraph under Subsection b,
Section 69 of the Revised Grdinances of the County
evidence that the speed is not reasonable or
prudent and that it is unlawful."
d. By adding a new paragraph numbered 9 to read
as follows:

ORDINANCE NO. 333
(Bill No. 367 - 1965)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 25, REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED, PERTAINING TO THE
REGULATION OF TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII.
This Bill amends the Traffic Code in the following
manner:
1. Sets 35 miles per hour speed restriction on the
Honokaa-Waipio Road through Camp 10;
2. Sets 45 miles per hour speed restriction on the
Honokaa-Waipio Road, from a point where Project
No. 5-0240(2) commences (except Camp 10) to a
point 400 feet Waipio of Nienie Bridge;
3. Sets 25 miles per hour speed restriction on
Mamane Street (Mamalahoa Highway) in Honokaa from
a point 440 feet Waipio of Nienie Bridge to a
point southeastward where Mamane Street intersects
with Ohia Street (Old Homestead Road).
