AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDIiANCE NO. 25 OF THE REVISED,
ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. 1960, AS AMENDED,
BY AMENDING SECTION 69, PERTAINING TO THE REGULATION OF
SPEED ZONES UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS AND HIGHW<4YS OF THE
COUNTY OF HASVAII.
This Bill. amends the Traffic Code by setting speed
limits of 65 miles per hour on the Hawaii Belt Road, from.
Paauilo to a point 1500 feet west of the intersection of
the Honokaa :-+ccess ~2oad (FAP S-23B (1) ) with the Hawaii
Belt Road; on the Hawaii. Belt. Road, from a point 1000 fee#:
west of the intersection of Lehua Street with the Hawaii
Belt Road to Mud Lane; on the Hawaii. Belt Road, from the
southern boundary of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
to a point opposite the 47-P*.ile Post.

AN ORDINANCE APQENDING ORDINANCE N0. 25 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS Ah1sNDED, BY

BE IT ORDAINED BY TIME BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THl; COUNTY OF
IIAWAI I
SECTION 1. Paragraph 9 of Section 69 of Ordinance No. 25,
Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 196D, as amended,
relating to speed zones of sixty-five miles per hour is herek~y
amended as follows;
a. By amending subparagraph 9a to read as follows;
"a. On the Iaaaaii 3elt 12oad, from Paauilo to
a point 1500 feet west of the intersection of the
Ilonokaa 1Lccess Road (FI':P S-238 (1) ) with the Hawaii
Belt Road."
b. By amending subparagraph 9b to read as follows;
"b. On the Hawaii Belt Goad, from a point 1000 feet
west of the intersection of Lehua Street with the Hawaii
Belt Road to i:4ud Lane."
c. By amending subparagraph 9d to read as follows:
"d. On the Hawaii i3elt Road, from the southern
boundary of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to a
point opposite the 47-P.Iile Post."
SEC`iION 2. 'Phis Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval,
