ORDINANCE NO. 34^
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO, 20 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1, Ordinance No, 20 of the Revised Ordinances
of the County of Hawaii, as amended, is hereby further amended
as follows:
a. By adding thereto a new section numbered 15-F,
after Section 15-E, to create a new light industrial
zone out of a portion of Residential Zone B-l, which
section shall read as follows;
"Section 15-F, Light Industrial Zone X.
"Light Industrial Zone X shall contain all of
that area bounded as follows;
"Beginning at the southeast corner of this parcel
of land, the northeast corner of Lot 6, in Block 38
of the Waiakea House Lots, 1st Series, and on the
west side of Kanoelehua Avenue, the coordinates of
said point of beginning referred to Government
Survey Triangulation Station "HALM" being 2843,00
feet south and 11,062.50 feet east and thence running
by azimuths measured clockwise from true south:
1, 90° OOt 210.50 feet along Lot 6, in Block 38
of the Waiakea House Lots,
1st Series;
2. 180° 00~ 200,00 feet along Lots 3 and 1-B, in
Block 38 of the Waiakea
House Lots, 1st Series;
3. 270° OOt 210..50 feet along the south side of
Leilani Street;
4. 0° OOt 200.00 feet along the west side of
Kanoelehua Avenue to the
point of beginning and
containing an area of
42,100 square feet."

b. By adding thereto a new section numbered 28-D,
after Section 28-C, to create a new hotel apartment zone
out of a portion of Agricultural Zone II, which section
shall read as follows;
"Section 28-D. Hotel and Apartment Zone IX.
"Hotel and Apartment Zone IX shall contain all
of that area bounded as follows;
"Beginning at the northeast corner of Banyan
Drive and Kanakea Street and running in a clockwise
direction as follows;
1. The Hamakua side of Banyan Drive to the east
side of the Cocoanut Island Road;
2. The east side of the Cocoanut Island Road and
running on a tangent to a point 35 feet away from
the seashore;
3. A meandering line along the se ashore 35 feet mauka
of the highwater mark to the east side of Kanakea
Street; and
4. The east side of Kanakea Street to the point of
beginning."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
