AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PORTION OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF HILO
BY CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FORA CERTAIN AREA
OF LAND FROM OPEN SPACE USE TO RESORT USE AT WAIAKEA PENINSULA.
This Bill changes the land use designation of an area
bounded by Kanakea Street, makai side of Banyan Drive, Cocoanut
Island Road and Hilo Bay in Waiakea Peninsula, from open
space use to resort use.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 20 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED.
This Bill creates a new hotel apartment zone out of a
portion of Agricultural Zone II within the Waiakea Peninsula.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PORTION OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF HILO
BY CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR A CERTAIN ARL-A
OF LAND FROM OPEN SPACE USE TO RESORT USE AT WAIAKEA
PE NI NSULA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. A portion of the General Plan of Hilo as
formulated in the

by changing the land use designation of
land situated at Waiakea Peninsula, South
n open space use to resort use. The
said resort use shall be described as
An area bounded by Kanakea Street, makai side
cf Banyan Drive, Cocoanut Island Road and Hilo Bay
in Waiakea Peninsula, South Hilo, Hawaii, as outlined
in red and designated as "Resort Use, Resolution No. 61"
on the map attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A," and by
reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
