AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PORTION OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF HILO
BY CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN AREAS OF
LAND FROM OPEN SPACE USE TO RESORT USE AT KEAUKAHA AND AT
WAIAKEA PENINSULA, SOUTH HILO, HAWAII.
This Bill changes the land use designation of an area
bounded by the north side of Kalanianaole Street, the west
side of Grant 9552 and the mauka side of Leleiwi Beach
Park, Executive Order No. 267, in Keaukaha and a certain
area of land situated at Waiakea Peninsula, from open space
use to resort use.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PORTION OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF HILO
BY CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN AREAS OF
LAND FROM OPEN SPACE USE TO RESORT USE AT KEAUKAHA AND AT
WAIAKEA PENINSULA, SOUTH HILO, HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. A portion of the General Plan of Hilo as
formulated in the "Plan for the Metropolitan Area of Hilo"
is hereby amended by changing the land use designation of a
certain area of land situated at Keaukaha, South Hilo,
Hawaii, from open space use to resort use. The boundaries
of the said resort use shall be described as follows:
An area bounded by the north side of Kalanianaole
Street, the west side of Grant 9552, and the mauka
side of Leleiwi Beach Park, Executive Order No. 267,
in Keaukaha, South Hilo, Hawaii, as outlined in red
and designated as "Resort Use, Resolution No. 65" on
the map attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A," and by
reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. A portion of the General Plan of Hilo as
formulated in the "Plan for the Metropolitan Area of Hilo" is
hereby amended by changing the land use designation of a
certain area of land situated at Waiakea Peninsula, South
Hilo, Hawaii, from open space use to resort use. The
boundaries and area of the said resort use are outlined in
red and designated as "Resort Use, Resolution No. 66" on
the map attached hereto, marked "Exhibit B," and by reference

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
