AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 25 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION 41,
RELATING TO PROHIBITED PASSING, AND SECTS ON 43, RELATING TO
DRIVING TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CENTER OF A 1~ADWAY.
This Bill deletes Subsection (a) of Section 41 which
reads: "At the intersection of any street or highway except
when the vehicle being overtaken is making or about to make
a right. turn" and amends Subsection (a) of Section 43 to read:
"When approaching within one hundred feet of or traversing
any intersection where said approach is designated by a solid
centerline."

RELATING TO PROHIBITED PASSING, AND SECTION 43, RELATING TO
DRIVING TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CENTER OF A ROADWAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOART) OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FUR THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII;
SECTION I. Subsection (a) of Section 1}1 of Ordinance
No. 25 of the Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1960,
as amended, is hereby deleted,
SECTION 2, Paragraph 2, Subsection (a), Section !}3 of
Ordinance No, 25 of the Revised Ordinances of the County of
Hawaii 1960, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2. When approaching within one hundred feet
of or traversing any intersection where said approach is
designated by a solid centerline."
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
