This Bill states that the applicant requesting inspectional
services from the County shall bear the cost of such overtime
inspection at the rate of $7.50 per hour.

AN ORDINANCE INVOKING A MORATORIUM ON BUILDING PERMIT FEES,
ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES, PLUMBING PERMIT FEES, AND DRIVEFD~Y
PEFMIT FEES.
This Bill states that any person, firm or corporation
which sustained any damage from the July 25, 1966, flood shall
pay no more than One Dollar ($1.00) in permit fees for each
building and driveway damaged by the flood for a period of
one year from July 25, 1966.

ORDINANCE NO. 368
AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO INSPECTION COSTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII.
SECTION 1. Definitions.
Wherever used in this ordinance the following words
shall have the meanings herein indicated:
(a) Applicant. Applicant shall mean any person
requesting inspectional services from the County
(b) Cost. Cost shall mean the amount to be charged by
the County for overtime inspections at the rate of
$7.50 per hour.
(c) Inspection. Inspection shall. include all inspections
provided for by law.
SECTION 2. Charges for Overtime Inspections.
When an applicant requests that an inspection be made
during any hour after the normal working hours of an inspector
in any work day, or on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday,
the applicant shall bear the cost of such inspection, and
shall pay said cost to the County of Hawaii, prior to the
final approval of any project so inspected.
Monies so realized shall be credited to the proper accounts
of the respective agencies to cover the cost of such overtime
inspections. Such monies are hereby appropriated and shall be
expended for inspection costs without further action of the
Board of Supervisors.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
