ORDINANC£ NO. 369
AN ORDINANCE INVOKING A MORATORIUM ON BUILDING PERMIT FEES,
ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES, PLUMBING PERMIT FEES, AND DRIVEWAY
PERMIT FEES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Moratorium on Permit Fees. Notwithstanding
any provision to the contrary in Section 303 of the Uniform
Building Code, 1961 L-dition, adopted by Ordinance No. 122,
relating to building permit fees; Sections 21, 22, 23 and 24
of Ordinance No. 41, relating to electrical permit fees;
Sections 9 and 31 of Ordinance No. 40, relating to plumbing
permit fees; and Section 3 of Ordinance No. 36, relating to
driveway approach permit fees, any person, firm or corporation
which sustained any damage from the July 25, 1966, flood shall
pay no more than One Dollar ($1.00) in permit fees for each
building and driveway damaged by the flood for a period of
one year from July 25, 1966.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
