AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 377 OF
THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, RELATING
TO CREATION OF NEW SPEED ZONES IN THE CITY OF HILO.
This Bill amends Ordinance No. 377 by setting speed
zones of 35 miles per hour on Kilauea Avenue from Ponahawai
Street to Aupuni Street; Pauahi Street from Kamehameha
Avenue to Kilauea Avenue; and 30 miles per hour speed
zones on Aupuni Street from Pauahi Street to Kilauea Avenue.

THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960, RELATING
TO CREATION OF NEW SPEED 'ZONES IN THE CITY OF HILO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN APJD FOR
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Subsection (b) of Section 10-5 of Ordinance
No. 377 of the Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1960,
relating to speed zones of 30 miles per hour, is hereby amended
by adding thereto a new paragraph numbered to read as follows:
"3. Aupuni Street from Pauahi Street to Kilauea
Avenue,"
SECTION 2. Subsection (c) of Section 10-5 of Ordinance
No. 377 of the Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1960,
relating to speed zones of 35 miles per hour, is hereby amended
by adding thereto 'two new paragraphs numbered 17 and 18 to read
as follows:
"17. Kilauea Avenue from Ponahawai Street to
Aupuni Street."
"18. Pauahi Street from Kamehameha Avenue to
Kilauea Avenue."
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
