AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 183 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1960 (THE INTERIM
ZONING ORDINANCE), RELATING TO NON-CONFORMING USES.
This Bill amends Section 5 of Ordinance :~10. 183, by
permitting the alteration and additions of existing non-conforming
uses on the approval of the Director.

AN ORDINANCE TG AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 363, AS AMENDED, APPROPRIATING
ESTIMATED REVENUES, RECEIPTS AND SURPLUS FOR EXPENDITURE FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1967.
This Bill amends Ordinance No. 363, by revising the
estimated revenue for the fiscal year ending ~7une 30, 1967.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE B0~1RD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND F03 Tr1E
COUNTY OF HA'JVAII:
SECTION 1. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 183 of the Revised
Ordinances of the Couni;y of Havdaii 1960, amended to read as
follows:
"SECTION 5. Non-Conforming Uses. Any lawful use
of land existing or under construction at the time this
crdinance was adopted may be continued provided that if
such non-conforming use be discontinued for a period cf
one year, any fu:rt:her continuance of such use shall not
be allowed, and provided, further, that no such non-
conforming use shall be changed to a different non-conforming
use. Provided, also, that structural alterations o:r
additions to such non-conforming use can be made on approval
of the Director."
SECTION ?_. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
apprcval.
