BE IT ORDAIIIED BY TH1= I3OA_tD OF SUPEi:VISORS IN AND FOR THI: COUNTY OF HAFdAI I ; SF,CTION 1, The Board of Supervisors of- the County of Hawaii declares as its legislative intent to curb the open and unrestricted consumption of intoxicating liquors by minors in all public places. SECTION 2. As used in this ordinance: (a) "i~iinor" shall mean any person below the age of twenty (20) years; (b) "Public place" means any place, building or passenger conveyance to which the public resort or are generally permitted to have access, except duly licensed establishments regulated and controlled by the Liquor Commission of the County of Hawaii; (c) "Intoxicating liquor" includes alcohol, brandy, whiskey, rum, gin, okolehao, sake, be includes, in addition to the or fermented liquor, liquids whatever constituency and by half of one per cent or more use or readily converted for ar, ale, porter and wine; and also foregoing, any spirituous, vinous, malt and compounds, in whatever form and of whatever name called, containing one- or alcohol by volume, which are fit for use for beverage purposes. SECTION 3, No person. shall provide, serve, or offer for drink, any intoxicating liquor in any public place to any minor, The duty to ascertain the age of any person drinking in any public place devolves on such provider, server, or offerer, SECTION 4, No minor shall drink or consume any intoxicating liquor in any public place.
