ADI ORDINANCE RELATING TO THL SCATTERING, THROWING, DROPPING,
DEPOSITING, AIiD PLACIAIG OF RUBBISH, DEBRIS AND OTHER T:IATERIALS ON
HIGHCTAYS, STREETS, ROADS, ALLEYS, SIDEt9ALKS, SEA BEACHES OR OTHER
PUBLIC PLACES IN THE COUPITY 0'r' HAl1AII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BC?%~l?D OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF HA[TAII:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to scatter,
throw, drop, deposit, or place or cause to be scattered, thrown,
dropped, deposited or placed on any highway, street, road, alley,
sidewalk, sea beach, public park or other public place in the County
of Hawaii, State of Hatioaii, any glass, glass bottle, tin can, nail,
tacY., wire, piece of metal, stone, paper, fruit peeling, rag, wood,
straw, hay, or sweeping or any rubbish or debris of any kind
whatsoever, except in receptacles provided thereon for that purpose.
SECTION 2. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than
$3.00 nor more than ;1250.00.
