ORDINANCE N0. 75
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-A-1 OF ORDINANCE N0. 61, REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, RELATING TO PUBLIC SEWER SERVICE CHARGES.
BE IT ORDAINID BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 7-A-1 of Ordinance No. 61, Revised Ordinances
of the County of Hawaii 1967, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 7. SEWER SERVICE CHARGES.
"A. Schedule of Rates.
"l. Based on Metered-Water Consumption. Monthly charge
for sewer service in the district of North Kona shall be at
the rate of 50 percent and in all other districts at the rate
of 75 percent of the total charge for water service, based on
metered-water consumption as may be applicable to each lot,
land, building, dwellSng or nremises, provided that water
consumed for the purpose of cooler and swimming pool shall
not be included in the computation. The minimum monthly bill
for sewage service shall be the minimum water charge or
readiness to serve charge based on the size of the water meter
as established by the County Board of Water Supply. No sewer
service charge shall. be levied on water used for irrigation or
other uses when separate water meters are installed for such
purposes and the water drawn through such meters is not discharged
into the sanitary sewerage system."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.

ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, RELATING TO PUBLIC

This Bill amends the schedule of rates for sever service
charges in the district of North Kona as it pertains to use of
eater for irrigation purposes.

ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 60 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE COiTNTY OF HAWAII 1967, RELATING TO THE ADOPTION OF A
PLUMBING CODE.
This Bill alloys the bona fide owner of a single family
duelling used exclusively for living purposes, to be occupied
by or designed to be occupied by said owner, to do any plumbing
or drainage work regulated by this code.
