ORDINANCE N0. 77
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 59 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
OOllNTY OF HAWAII 1967, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHING OF REGULATIONS
GOVERNING THE INSTALLATION, CARE, AND MAINTENANCE OF ELF,CTRICAL YrpRK
AND EWIPMENT IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COIINTY OF HAWAII;
SECTION 1. Section 10 of Ordinance No. 59, Revised Ordinances of
the County of Hawaii 1967, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 10, Persons to Whom Permits May Be ,Issued. A
permit may be issued only to: (1) Any person who undertakes by
himself or through his employees any operation to do any electrical.
work regulated by this Code in a single family dwelling used
exclusively for living purposes, including the usual accessory
building and quarters in connection with such buildings in the
event that any such person is the bona fide owner of any such
dwelling and accessory building and quarters, and that the same
are occupied by or designed to be occupied by said owner; or
(21 a supervising e~ectricfan or supervising specialty electrician:
"A. Who is an electrical contractor or electrical. specialty
contractor; or
"B. Who is employed by an electrical contractor or
electrical specialty contractor for work of the electrical
contractor or electrical specialty contractor; or
"C. Who is employed as a maintenance electrician by
someone other than an electrical contractor or electrical
specialty contractor; or
"D, Who is donating his services as an electrician or
specialty electrician to an eleemosynary institution in connection
with electrical. installations of a temporary nai:uret or
"E, V9tso is applying for a permit for electrical or
specialty electrical work for his own dwelling.
"F. IMho is employed by the County."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.

This Bill amends that section of the Electrical Code
relating to persons to whom permits may be issued,

ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-5 (e) OF ORDINANCE N0, 39,
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, RELATING TO
THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS AND HIGNWAYS
OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
This Bill establishes a speed limit of 45 miles per hour
on Ke Ala 0 Keaxe, City of Refuge Road, from the Hawaii Belt
Junction to the junction xith Puuhonua Road,
