Section 3 of Ordinance X10. 6 of the Revised Ordinances of the :,'ounty of Hawaii 1567, is hereby amended to read as follo~.~ls: "3ECTI0^! 3. Rate of Compensation. "(A). The monthly rates of compensation for positions covered by the position classification plan shall be determined and fixed in accordance ~~~ith the salary schedule, including increment increases, of Sections 4-9 and 4-10, of the Revised Laws of Hav~aii 1955, as amended, and said salary schedule, including increment increases, is made a part hereof by reference. "(B). Employees occupying positions not subject to the compensation schedule hereinabove set forth (F.) shall be paid at rates of compensation as fixed and established by applicable provisions of the Revised Laws of Haa!aii 1955 and any act amendatory thereto, or any resolution in pursuance thereof by the Board of Supervisors in accordance ~~,ith the follo~•~ing schedule: Ua~i. Section 3.01 of Ordinance No. 6 of the Revised Ordinances of the county of Havaaii 1967 is hereby amended to read as follo~~-s: "SECTION 3.01 Overtime. ^ny employee ~~~ho is authorizec; by his department head to perform overtime services in excess of the maximum number of hours set by applicable provisions of the Revised Lai^,~s of Hav~aii 1955, and any act amendatory thereto, or any rule or -3- passed in pursuance thereof, shall be entitled to payment in cash or compensatory tine-off for work in excess of the required maximum number of hours at the rate of one and one-half hours for each hour of over- time v:~or]c in accordance ~f,~ith the provisions of Section 5-72, Revised Lat••~s of Hawaii 1955, as amended." ~ECTIOi~ 3. ~ection II of Ordinance Pio. 6 of the Revised Ordinances of the County of Ha~~aii 1967, is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION? ~.
